FavorPrep™ Zero-DNA Lyticase Solution is a ready-to use enzymatic reagent optimized for the efficient degradation of yeast and fungal cell walls in nucleic acid extraction workflows. The enzyme specifically hydrolyzes β-1,3-glucan, facilitating effective cell wall digestion and nucleic acid release. Co-treatment with Proteinase K or Zymolase can further enhance total nucleic acid recovery. Since conventional lyticase preparations are typically derived from bacterial sources and may contain residual bacterial DNA, FavorPrep™ Zero-DNA Lyticase Solution is produced using a controlled manufacturing process to eliminate bacterial DNA contamination, enabling high-purity nucleic acid extraction suitable for sensitive downstream applications such as qPCR and NGS. The liquid format ensures consistent performance and simplifies workflow integration.

Format: Liquid

Concentration: 10,000 U/ml

Applications: Genomic DNA extraction, RNA extraction from yeast and fungi.

Operation Time: Depending on experimental requirements (generally 30 minutes).
