10 µg pIVEX 1.4 WG vector DNA- The RTS pIVEX Wheat Germ vectors are designed for highlevel cell-free expression of 6xHis-tagged eukaryotic proteins using the RTS 100 Wheat Germ CECF and RTS 500 Wheat Germ CECF Kits.
Two different vectors are contained in the set. The vectors contain all regulatory elements necessary for in vitro expression based on a combination of T7 RNA polymerase and wheat germ lysates. Cloning into RTS pIVEX Wheat Germ His6-tag vectors allows optimal protein expression in all RTS Wheat Germ CECF kits that use patented CECF (Continuous-Exchange Cell-Free) technology to produce up to 1 mg protein (in the RTS 100 Wheat Germ CECF Kit), or more than 1 mg protein (in the RTS 500 Wheat Germ CECF Kit) per 1 ml protein synthesis reaction in a 24-hour reaction.
