Sucrose, Lyophilization Certified, 500 gm

Sucrose, Lyophilization Certified, is one of two lyoprotecants offered by OPS Diagnostics for the preservation of microorganisms, proteins, DNA, and other biomolecules; Trehalose, Lyophilization Certified, is the other. Both Trehalose and Sucrose are disaccharides, which are effective at maintaining the integrity of biological systems when dehydrated in the freeze-drying process.

Sucrose, Lyophilization Certified, is lot tested to ensure its effectiveness.  Sucrose is widely used and significantly less expensive than Trehalose.
